The provisions of this section apply to air treatment equipment which produces a sound level which does not exist without this sound level. To impose, interpret or indicate a different frequency of weighing, the "A" in the "Weighing Slow Reaction" applies. The measuring interval must not be longer than one hour, provided the measurement results are representative of the one-hour interval.
A - weighted sound level is measured when the slow response is 10 times higher during the one-hour interval. A sound pressure level, measured in decibels, is the effective pressure of the measured sound. The "A" -rated sound levels are measured when the "slow response" is exceeded 90 times or 100 times within the one-hour interval.
The characteristics of the sound emitted by the source include, but are not limited to, the number of such sounds produced per hour and the frequency of each sound.
If the noise level is measured from a distance of 400 feet from the construction site, it will not exceed 1,000 feet per hour or half an hour per day for at least 24 hours. If the noise level of a noise source on the construction site at the North Port of New York was measured at a distance of up to 400 feet from construction sites, the noise level will be exceeded by at least 2.5 hours per week and by up to 4 hours per day for up to 12 hours if measured within the distance to the construction site. In addition, noise levels may exceed 2,500 feet per week during the project.
The sound levels contained in SS 200 - 14B (d) do not apply to a noise-sensitive zone, regardless of how the area is divided into this area. The noise level included here applies to all noise sensitive zones, except if they are not useless and not booked.
The applicant shall notify the application by post to all surrounding property owners in the area of the aforementioned noise sensitive zone and to the Mayor of Northport Village or any other person or entity within the same area. Such a letter must contain information proving that the application for a deviation from the sound source would constitute a violation of SS 200 - 14B (d) and the Act on Noise-Sensitive Zones of the City. The person who wishes to conduct an emergency operation notifies the North Port Village Police Department, which in turn notifies the Mayor and / or the Chief of Police or other local law enforcement officials.
